Today, these hospitals along with others run by the NMC Group in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain treat more than one million patients a year. Shetty runs the operations of the group as managing director and chief executive officer. He originally hails from the Bavaguthu House in Kaup near Udupi in India and belongs to the Tulu speaking Matrilineal Bunt Community. He has been honoured by Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award He was awarded The Padmashri by the President of India in the year 2009 for his contribution in the field of trade and industry

We went on a 7 day cruise around the Arabian Gulf and visited places such as Muscat, Oman, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Bahrain. It was a Royal Caribbean cruise and we went on the boat, Brilliance of the Seas. It was a great trip and I’d reccomend it to anyone interested on going! We went from Jan-Feb and it was the perfect time to go as the weather was amazing (mid 20s- 30s) Enjoy the video!
