my company is under Dubai Holding and semi government.As per HR,they terminated my contract because of gross misconduct which is not acceptable on my part because there was no strong evidence. they just terminate me because of the recession.is there any other ban can my company give to me. i got the photo copy of my passport stamp No Ban along with my visa cancellation right away while im still waiting for my 1 month valid stay.I am waiting for my new visa from my new employer and is there a chance for me to get this new job without going back to my country?please advise!!!

I packed my clothes so as 3 original english and hindi movie DVDs, two boxes of CDs where free softwares are there, one USB Harddisk, A tripod, my DSLR camera, Hindu Goddess laminated photo and few electrical parts and cables in my travelbag.
Only by DSLR camera and lenses will be with my handbag which i will keep inside my flight. Rest of the things will go in checkin.
Are all of these, all of these safe while bagage checking and safe and trouble-free while travelling from india to dubai airport?
Despite having full qualifications in mathematics and chemistry from uni in Dubai and explosives training in my home country, they did not seem too eager for me to work for them, when I visited their application office at the Army headquarters.
Like, I tried out in the explosives specialist unit, but after doing a full check of my background and previous occupations, they said I was ‘not suitable’, even though I’d made it clear to them that I had a lot of past experiences in dealing with explosives [this might have even made them more unsure].
I think they were automatically suspicious of me anyway, especially afterwards I was escorted out of the building by 6 armed guards and there were also 2 FBI vehicles waiting outside.
After being forced a full vehicle + body check, I was told to leave the complex immediately.
I still don’t understand exactly why they rejected me.

As per telecon with my company, they just took scan copy and fax copy of my passport photo, passport pages, signed offer letter and my degree certificate. As per them, they will apply for my entry permit which will take 2 weeks maximum for indian citizen. Once that is done, they will send a typed paper along with air ticket for me to reach dubai. Once i reach, i need to go for Medical test, signed couple of forms and submit to MOL. It will take another 2-3 weeks for the visa to get complete and stamped in my Passport. Afterwhich, I can sponsor my wife.
Can you tell me if anything is missing or wrong in the above procedure? How much time exactly it takes to get the entry permit? What docs I will require to show in the airport when I will fly first time to dubai and also to process for my emp. visa?
